Located at the center of Big Sur next to the United States Post Office. One of the largest selections of Big Sur T-Shirts, sweatshirts, & postcards. Also including a variety of Big Sur books, magnets, coffee mugs, stickers, and many other souvenir items, all at reasonable prices. Opens early at 7:00 a.m. and closes late, at 9:00 p.m., seven days a week.

Hawthorne Gallery
The Hawthorne Gallery represents the artwork of the multi-talented Hawthorne family as well as the work of several other outstanding contemporary artists. The Gallery itself is distinctive in architecture and design and is the result of a collaboration with famed Post Ranch Inn architect Mickey Muennig. Representing the work of Gregory Hawthorne, ten additionally talented members of the Hawthorne family and many other nationally known artists, the Hawthorne Gallery boasts a unique inventory in various mediums including but not limited to contemporary painting, sculpture, blown glass, ceramics, and cloisonné. Located across from Nepenthe on Highway 1. Open daily from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm.
Henry Miller Library
Championing the works of the American author, artist and Big Sur resident, Henry Miller. Gallery, sculpture garden, bookstore with a treasure of fine books, art, music, and history of the area. Many items, including rare books, are for sale. Available for special events.
New Camaldoli Hermitage
Located near Lucia on the southern Big Sur Coast, we offer an extensive combination of art, paintings, gifts, and a treasure of fine religious and spiritual books. We are open seven days a week and feature art created by members of our community and other local artists. We have a beautiful collection of religious items, jewelry, cards, candles, and much more, including our Holy Granola and our famous brandy-dipped fruitcakes and date-nut cakes.
The Phoenix at Nepenthe
The Phoenix is a unique gift shop featuring exceptional merchandise from around the world as well as from local artisans. Handcrafted fine jewelry, home décor and furniture, boutique clothing, books, toys, textiles, ceramics and personal care products are just some of the wide array of creative items for sale. The Phoenix is proud to always feature Erin Gafill's plein aire oil paintings and Kaffe Fassett's one-of-a-kind knits and fabric artwork. Open 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.

Ventana's Glass House Gallery
The Glass House Gallery at Ventana Big Sur is perched 1,100 feet above the majestic Pacific Ocean. We feature exquisite work from local artists; including paintings, photographs and sculptures from local artists. Works by Erin Gafill, Bob Kolbrener, Emile Norman and Doug Steakly adorn our spectacular gallery which is a repurposed industrial CONEX box. The Glass House Gallery also offers apparel, bath amenities, books, leather goods, local crafts and other exclusive 'Ventana Big Sur' mementos.
