California State ParkPfeiffer Big Sur State Park has an active guided hikes, Junior Rangers, and Ranger Cubs programs through the summer months; Memorial Day through Labor Day. A series of activities for the whole family. Park day use fees apply for Nature Walks and daytime activities.

Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park Campfire AmphitheatreBecause of a forest fire, Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park, Andrew Molera State Park, Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park, Point Sur Light Station and the Los Padres National Forest surrounding Big Sur is closed until further notice effective July 25, 2016.

Point Sur Lightstation State Historic Park Tours
"Walking Tour into the Past" Volunteer led, three-hour walking tour on paved road. The walk is less than a mile but with a rise in elevation of 300'. Meet along the West Side of Highway 1, ¼ mile north of Pt. Sur Naval facility. Arrive early. Tour size limited.

California Condor Discovery Center
Come visit the Discovery Center in Big Sur, California located at Andrew Molera State Park. At the Discovery Center, you can see and interact with the exhibit Bringing the Condors Home and learn about condors and the efforts to recover the birds to the wild.

The Discovery Center is a great place for anyone interested in spending time in beautiful Big Sur, going on breathtaking hikes with views of the mountains and ocean. Bring your family or friends and have a picnic, sign up for tours or interact with on-site biologists and naturalists. The Discovery Center is open to the public and free of charge.

Ernst Ewoldsen Nature Center
Located along the Warden's Path on the south side of the Big Sur River in Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park. Open for visitors Saturday from 10:00 a.m.– 2:00 p.m. Come discover what lives here in the park!

Molera Ranch House Museum
Find out what it was like to live in Big Sur 100 years ago? Located at Andrew Molera State Park, the Ranch House is open for visitors Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. when a volunteer is available.
